For many years our director has lived in the Lake District and yet continued to come down to London each week to lead us and direct our concerts. Recently the logistics of trying to do this have just proved too difficult.

The choir would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank him for the wonderful concerts and opportunities he has given us over the years and wish him well in his continued music making "Up North".

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the choirs supporters and concert goers over the years and in particular for helping us making Saturdays concert so memorable.

The choir membership hopes to be able to continue to sing as a group although if we do it will not be under the name of
"Canonbury Chamber Choir".
